House Hound is a property search and alert service based in the United Kingdom. By using this service, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

House Hound provides:

Property listing search and alerts based on your preferences
AI-generated scoring and analysis of property listings
WhatsApp notifications for new listings

3. Not financial or legal advice

House Hound is an information service only. The scores, analysis, ROI projections, growth estimates, lodger income estimates, risk assessments, and all other AI-generated content are provided for general informational purposes only.

They do not constitute:

Financial advice
Investment advice
Legal advice
Property valuation
Mortgage or lending advice

AI-generated analysis may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. You should always conduct your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice (surveyor, solicitor, mortgage adviser, financial adviser) before making any property purchase or investment decision.

We accept no liability for decisions made based on information provided by House Hound.

4. Property data

Property listings displayed in House Hound are sourced from publicly available property portals. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listing information. Listings may be removed, updated, or marked as sold without notice. Always verify details directly with the selling agent.

5. Subscription and payment

House Hound offers a 7-day free trial with card details required upfront
After the trial, your subscription renews monthly at the listed price
You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details
Refunds are not provided for partial months but may be considered on a case-by-case basis

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute data from House Hound
Use automated tools to access the service (bots, crawlers, etc.)
Share your account credentials with others
Abuse the AI analysis features (excessive requests, prompt injection, etc.)

7. Availability

We aim to keep House Hound available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or experience downtime. Alert delivery depends on third-party services (WhatsApp, Twilio) which are outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

The House Hound name, logo, design, and code are owned by the operator. AI-generated analysis content is provided for your personal use and may not be republished or redistributed commercially.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, House Hound's total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding your claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or missed property opportunities.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
